Munaf Merchant has 30 years of experience in the securities industry, having worked at investment banks, hedge funds and broker/dealers in senior and managerial positions in the trading and risk management departments. He is part of a group of founding members of Velocity Clearing and its affiliated entity, Velocity Capital, LLC, a proprietary trading broker/dealer. He has extensive trading and risk management expertise in Equities, Equity Options, Linear Derivatives and Stock Loan. He has overseen the development of various technology initiatives supporting these disciplines. Munaf graduated from Sydenham College (Bombay) with a degree in Accounting and Finance and has an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University.
