Anthony Merola is a securities finance professional with over 40 years of experience managing and trading domestic and international securities. Anthony functions as the Treasure of Velocity Clearing and oversees the management and trading of Velocity’s fixed Income and repo book. Previously, he oversaw the securities lending desk at Velocity and led a team focused on domestic securities trading. His career has included pivotal roles, such as starting & managing a securities finance desk at Mizuho Securities USA, handling global securities lending and corporate repo. Before Mizuho, he led the securities lending trading desks and established a securities lending & repo desk at Societe Generale Securities and a repo trading desk at ING Financial Markets LLC with a focus on both domestic and emerging market securities.
